Humboldt - A 12-year-old girl strangled her 8-year-old cousin to death in Humboldt, Tennessee. An 8-year-old girl was strangled while she was sleeping. The police have charged the accused with first-degree murder and also accused her of attempting to destroy evidence.

A relative of the accused said that there was an argument between the two over an iPhone. Gibson District Attorney Frederick Agee said there was a CCTV camera installed in the bedroom where the murder took place.
According to the footage, the accused strangled the 8-year-old cousin with the help of a pillow and when she passed out, she cleaned the body with a bed sheet to erase the evidence and also fixed her position.
A relative told Reg TV in Memphis that the two got into an argument over an iPhone after he came to stay with his grandmother. After the footage of the incident came to light, the police registered a case of murder. The accused will turn 13 this month
