In this regard, the spokesperson of the Islamabad Capital Police says that the post-mortem process of the 8-year-old girl, who was killed after the alleged rape in the limits of Bara Kahu police station, has been completed. According to the spokesman, many suspicious people are in custody on the charge of rape and murder of the girl.
According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Police, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations is supervising the investigation. On the other hand, the rate of increase in sexual assault cases in Karachi is increasing rapidly. In the last year and a half, there has been a 41% increase in sexual assault cases in Karachi courts.
