Maryam Nawaz said in a rally that 2023 is the year of elections but before that, the injustices done to Nawaz Sharif will have to be resolved.
Pakistan Muslim League-N's Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz said on Monday that 2023 is the year of elections in Pakistan and elections will be held but before that, justice has to be done and the injustice done to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has to be redressed.
Addressing a workers' convention in Sahiwal, he said: "There will be an election, but the first milk from the election will have to be milk and water and both sides of the scales will have to be equal."
He said that before the elections Nawaz Sharif's convictions must be overturned and Imran Khan must be brought to justice, while Ulazikar (Nawaz Sharif) must withdraw titles like Sicilian Mafia and Godfather.
Maryam Nawaz said that some forces of Pakistan brought in "incompetent government and rulers", who destroyed the entire country. He raised the question of whether Nawaz Sharif has been hired to clean up his mess. The PML-N leader further said that his party decided to take over the government despite the political loss and if it was not done, the country was going to become Sri Lanka.
He further said that the election will be held but justice will be done first. The facilities that were given to Imran Khan should be given to Nawaz Sharif as well. He said that first, the watch thief and the foreign funding person will be brought to justice and then the election will be held.
He alleged that the former first lady used to accept five-carat diamonds to sign each file. Maryam Nawaz said that the statements of Judge Arshad Malik and Justice Shaukat Aziz of Islamabad High Court are enough for her father's innocence.
He further alleged that General (retd) Faiz Hameed and former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar are still providing protection to Imran Khan. No court in Pakistan has the courage to summon Imran Khan, Nawaz Sharif's appearances used to run at the speed of a rabbit, while now the hearings of the cases (against Imran Khan) are going on like a tortoise.
He said that the elected assemblies are often dissolved, which increases the problems of the people of the country
He said that former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi was not in favor of dissolving the provincial assembly but he was forced to do so. Naming former Supreme Court judge Justice Khosa, Maryam Nawaz alleged that he is responsible for the current disaster in Pakistan because he provided judicial support to Imran Khan to oust Nawaz Sharif.
He further said that Justice Khosa is equally responsible for the bad conditions of the country today. Maryam Nawaz said that Imran Khan and his former government are responsible for the current inflation and economic crisis in the country, who pledged Pakistan to the IMF.
The PML-N leader further said that no one is taking the name of those who removed Nawaz Sharif from the government today, and all the roles that brought Imran Khan will also end. He knew that Imran Khan is incompetent and another name for disaster, but he brought him to the government and brought the country to the brink of disaster.
He hated Nawaz Sharif and handed him over to 'Ladley' to destroy Pakistan in his hatred. He claimed that whenever elections are held in the country, Pakistan Muslim League-N will get a clear victory
