Hujra police registered a case against accused Zain, DPO directed to arrest the accused immediately
Okara – Incidents of child sexual abuse are on the rise across the country, due to the lack of action and punishment against the accused involved in the heinous crime of abuse. Other suspects are also encouraged, leading to a significant increase in such heinous crimes. A similar incident took place in Okara where a three-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by a brutal man.
According to details, in Okara city of Punjab, a brutal accused raped a minor. After which the police have registered a case against the accused Zain. The incident took place in the Maharanwala area of Okara where 3 and a half-year-old child was allegedly raped. Hujra police have registered a case against accused Zain.
On the other hand, the DPO took notice of the incident and directed to arrest the accused immediately and bring justice to the victim’s family. It may be recalled that in a joint sitting of the Parliament yesterday, a bill was passed to make the convict involved in the crime of rape impotent. Jamaat-e-Islami’s proposal to publicly execute a rapist was rejected, while a bill to stop sexual violence against women and children was passed.
It should be noted that there has been a significant increase in child abuse cases across the country which has also increased the concern of parents. Last month, a ninth-grade student was abducted and raped in the outskirts of Okara. Six accused continued to abuse the abductee for several days. Media sources said that accused Rehan along with 6 accomplices had abducted the student at gunpoint 20 days ago. The 13-year-old student who was raped managed to escape after 6 days and reached her home.
