Private TV has obtained the record of a woman who allegedly filed false cases. Police say the woman’s name is Uzma Shahzadi, who registered cases against 10 different people in Lahore, Rahim Yar Khan, Lodhran, Ahmadpur, and Multan under the names of Tahrim, Khansa, Shazia, and Tayyaba. They include an MPA and Home and Income Tax officials.
Police say the investigation turned out to be false and all the cases have been dropped, but there are also seven cases against the woman for running a brothel, fraud, theft, intimidation, and fraud. It is to be noted that even before this, the Punjab police had arrested a woman who had taken money from the people and falsely accused her opponents of kidnapping and rape.
According to the Muzaffargarh District Police Spokesperson of Punjab, the woman who filed false cases used to become a plaintiff against the opponents of the people in return for money. ۔ Police said that all the evidence against the woman concerned would be presented in the court and further action would be taken against the woman on the order of the court. DPO Ahsan Iqbal said that those who filed illegal and false cases will also be exposed while legal action was initiated against the woman at Saddar police station.
