Google announces closure of all services on older Android phones from September 27

No application will work after the due date on smartphones running the Android 2.3.7 version.


ISLAMABAD – Google has announced that it will be shutting down all its services on older Android phones from September 27. And others will be blocked in older Android phones from September 27. Services will be suspended for smartphones running version 2.3.7, Android 2.3, or Android Gingerbread was introduced by Google in December 2010.

WhatsApp has already withdrawn support for this version of Android, while Android confirmed last August that it plans to block Google accounts on older Android phones. After September 27, not all users will be able to sign in to their Google account on these devices and will face a username and password error when trying, as well as other popular Google apps such as YouTube, Google Play Store, Google Maps, Gmail and others will not work.

To use these apps, you will need to upgrade to Android 3.0. According to statistics, there are currently more than 3 billion Android devices operating worldwide, so this change could affect thousands of users.
