Pakistan assures US support in recruiting, sources said
ISLAMABAD – The United States and allied forces have sought Pakistan’s help in completing the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Local media have reported that In the first phase of the evacuation, those who helped the US and allied forces during the war against the Taliban will be brought to Karachi on Pakistani visas.
As per sources, around 3,000 to 4,000 individuals from Afghanistan will be brought to Karachi and kept there for a month, after which they will be moved to the United States. Sindh will do it. Aviation sources said that flights from Afghanistan will also be brought to Multan, Faisalabad, and Peshawar but Lahore has apologized for providing this facility.
As per sources, a few flights conveying outsiders from Kabul will begin arriving in Karachi from tomorrow. According to media reports, a high-level meeting was held in Rawalpindi after receiving a request for assistance in withdrawing from Afghanistan. Foreign officials and other relevant officials, including the Director-General of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), attended.

As per sources, it has been chosen to set down the planes in Karachi because of the surge in Islamabad.
