Karachi – The accused in the murder case after the rape in Karachi has confessed to the crime. According to police sources, the accused named Zakir has confessed to raping and killing the girl. The ruthless accused told the police that he put the girl in the rickshaw around 11.30 am drove the girl in the rickshaw for an hour and kept on intoxicating her.
At around 12.30 pm, the girl was taken to the Sunday Bazaar Ground. The accused said that the girl was alive and semi-conscious even after the rape. Suddenly, the girl jumped and broke her neck. The accused further said that the girl threw it in the garbage and told his wife that he had taken the ride. According to the police, the accused had taken a ticket to Multan and reached home to get clothes. The accused called his wife and said that he wanted to flee to Karachi with his children.
According to police sources, the accused who raped the campaigner has also been a political party worker. ۔ Sindh Governor Imran Ismail visited Mahim’s house and offered condolences to his family over the tragic accident. In a meeting with the family of the expedition, the Governor of Sindh offered Fateha for the little girl and also assured the family of all kinds of cooperation from the federation.
Conversing with the media after the gathering, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail said that there couldn’t be more cold-bloodedness than assaulting a young lady and afterward killing her. He said that there was fear in the area and it was the responsibility of the state to eradicate it. Talking to the media, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail claimed that the main accused in the murder case had been arrested. He said that the identity of the main accused would be revealed after a DNA test.
