Riyadh - In the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, an entertainment event called "Noor Al Riyadh" is going on with full vigor and prosperity. Two works of art have been included in the Guinness Book of World Records for the programs of this annual festival. According to Al Arabiya News, 272,160 LED lights have been installed in "The Light House" by artist Carolina Hiltak on the occasion of the "Noor Al Riyadh" event.
This artwork illuminated the city of Riyadh. It was exhibited at the King Abdulaziz Historical Center from March 18 to April 3, 2021, which was well-received by visitors. Artist Kurt Vermeulen's "The Moving Star" artwork was also included in the Guinness Book of World Records. It is the brightest decoration in the world which was made in the country at an altitude of 256 meters with 1.2 million lights.
A 17-day art program titled 'Light of Riyadh' was held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia from 18 March 2021 as a mission to highlight the message of the kingdom's soft power. The showbiz event aims to showcase local talent in light art and benefit from the experiences of foreign experts. The 17-day exhibition ended on April 3 with the participation of local, regional, and international experts and light art experts.
The exhibition was attended by more than 60 artists from more than 20 countries and provided an inspiring cultural and human experience for Riyadh residents and tourists. The event featured tours, musical, and cinema performances from different parts of the country and abroad. Virtual meetings, workshops, and family activities were held at 13 different locations on the occasion. The event also provided an opportunity for more than 200 volunteers to enter the creative field. More than 12,000 people attended the Noor al-Riyadh exhibition
