Australian woman advises women not to marry due to commotion on social media |
Canberra (Monitoring Desk) - An Australian sexologist has advised women not to marry, citing a commotion on social media.
According to the Daily Star, Nadia Bokodi, an expert woman, says that marriage is a sex-based process, which does not benefit women as much as it does men. That is why women should never get married. Nadia Bokodi said this in a post on her Instagram account.
Explaining her point, Nadia Bokodi wrote After marriage, women have to do housework as well as their careers. Even if men lend a hand women still do most of the work. After that, when children are born, their upbringing is also the responsibility of women, which severely affects their careers. This is why many studies have shown that married men earn more and live longer than women, as most of their worries are borne by their wives.
Nadia writes that married women are in fact maids who do not even get paid. Therefore, getting married is an act based on gender inequality which women should avoid.
Consumer opinion is divided on this post by Nadia Bokodi. Some people are commenting in support of Nadia while some are disagreeing with her. He says that men also make many sacrifices for their wives and children in their married life, which are no less than the sacrifices of women.
