LAHORE - Speaking on a program on a private TV channel, Kashmiri leader Mashal Malik said that the Modi government's APC was nothing more than a fraud. It may be recalled that today Modi Government held APC on Occupied Kashmir The agenda included that Kashmir should get state status as soon as possible, elections should be held soon, domicile laws, land ownership, and jobs should be guaranteed, Kashmiri Pandits should be brought back and settled in Kashmir, political prisoners and protesters should be released. It is a shame that the Modi government has invited the puppet representation of Occupied Kashmir to join the APC. The duplicity or hypocrisy of the Modi government can also be gauged from the fact that not all the units of Occupied Kashmir were invited to the APC on Kashmir, especially the Hurriyat leaders and the stakeholders of Occupied Kashmir. It was not even considered necessary to talk to Pakistan.
On August 5, 2019, India had repealed Articles 370 and 35A of the Sovereignty of Occupied Kashmir. In the last three years, voices have been raised in favor of Occupied Kashmir from all over the world but it will not reach the ears of India. But the APC convened at a time when India was not under any pressure from any country to restore the sovereignty of occupied Kashmir.
