St. Petersburg - Portugal's football star Cristiano Ronaldo has equaled the record for most international goals. Earlier, the record was held by Ali Da'i of Iran.
Ronaldo scored two goals on penalties in the match against France during Euro Cup 2020, after which his score reached 109. Ronaldo also scored his first goal in the Euro Cup against Greece in 2004.
Ronaldo equaled Iran's Ali Dai's record of 109 international goals by scoring in Wednesday's match. Ali Daei last played for Iran in 2006
