Competition commission raids Poultry Association office key records seized |
Lahore – The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) raided the offices of the Pakistan Poultry Association and a poultry firm and seized important information during an investigation into the sharp rise in chicken prices.
According to a statement issued by the Competition Commission, two different teams took part in the operation during the raid. Information was seized from a computer in the office of the Pakistan Poultry Association. The commission had initiated an inquiry into the sharp rise in prices of broiler chicken, eggs, and one-day-old broiler chickens.
