Shikarpur – Before the decisive operation of the police against the Shikarpur dacoits began, the dacoits have decided to stay in touch with other groups of dacoits and fight the police together. According to police sources. Following the operation led by Operation Commander Tanveer Hussain Tanio, various groups of dacoits have come in contact with each other.
The dacoits have started arriving at the places of operation in different areas of Kacha. They are also arriving with modern weapons and food and drink. According to police sources, whenever the police conduct an operation against the dacoits in an area. Groups of dacoits from other Kacha areas reach out to them for help. The Sindh government has decided not to seek immediate help from Rangers and Army for the Shikarpur Kacha operation.
Government sources said that the operation in Kacha would be carried out by the police. However, there is constant contact with sensitive and law enforcement agencies. The help of these institutions will be sought where and when needed. Sindh police have prepared a detailed report on law and order in the province, stating that the police need logistical support in the Kacha area. Police need armed boats and air support for the operation.
The robbers have dug 3 to 4 km of trenches in the Kacha area. The robbers have set up barricades on trees in the dense forest and have also set up underground barricades. On May 23, the Tighani gang attacked the police. Three policemen were martyred and eight others were injured in the attack. The robbers used RPG Seven, RR Seven Five, and 12.7 anti-aircraft guns.
