The case of three Karachi youths drowning in a canal has taken a new turn. Survivors should be taken into custody and questioned. What happened was that the son had a head injury and his blood was not stopping till the burial. The mother declared the murder.
Karachi – The case of three youths, residents of Abul Hassan Isfahani Road, Karachi, who allegedly drowned while bathing in the Tando Muhammad Khan canal, has taken a new turn. The mother of the slain youth, Azlan, has killed the victim and demanded that the surviving youths be detained and questioned.
Talking to a private TV channel, he said My son was afraid of water, so how did he get into such deep water? The surviving Amir Hamza is bewildered. He came home and said that we were lucky so we escaped. The area where the incident took place is the hometown of the survivor Abdul Manan.
What happened was that the son had a head injury and his blood did not stop until the funeral.
It may be recalled that on May 23, 2021, it was reported that six youths from Karachi drowned while bathing in a canal in Tando Muhammad Khan, out of which three died while the remaining three were rescued. Three residents of Abbas Tan Karachi, Owais, Abdul Rehman, and Azlan, drowned in deep water in Tando Muhammad Khan’s Pahli Canal. Upon receiving the information, Tando Muhammad Khan police and Edhi divers, after a three-hour struggle, removed the bodies of the three youths and shifted them to Civil Hospital, Tando Muhammad Khan, where the bodies were handed over to their heirs.
Azlan’s father Khalid said that his son had gone to Tando Muhammad Khan with his other friends to buy animals for Eid-ul-Adha. He was informed that his son had drowned while bathing in the canal. He said that the boys had finished their work there and on their way back they stopped to bathe in the canal. Suddenly they were informed that six persons had drowned in the canal.
