| The cabinet of the Spanish province of Catalonia has been sworn in |
Barcelona – Out of the elected members of the Provincial Assembly of the Spanish province of Catalonia, 14 members of the Assembly have officially taken office. The distribution of posts is evenly distributed among the coalition parties. Catalan President-elect Pierre Aragones swears in members.
It may be recalled that the newly elected cabinet is going to start work during the health emergency due to the crisis caused by the coronavirus. Provincial President Pierre Aragones welcomed the cabinet members and wished them well. Talking to the media the newly elected President said that his team is ready to face the challenges facing the people. Referring to the pardon of the Liberal leaders, he said that after the decision of the Supreme Court this decision would be the prerogative of the federal government
