Initially, the couple had set a target of raising Rs 70 million but with the best response from the public, the target was raised to Rs 110 million. Individuals showed great enthusiasm and donated huge sums of money and completed the target of collecting Rs.
Virat Kohli and Anushka received a separate donation of Rs 50 million from a sports organization, while the couple personally donated Rs 20 million in their fundraising campaign.
