Seven terrorists arrested in France

Milan – Seven former left-wing terrorists, including former members of the Red Brigade (BR), was arrested in Paris on Wednesday. Rome has long been pressuring France to grant asylum in Paris. 


The BR carried out a series of political violence in Italy in the 1970s and 1980s, including the kidnapping and assassination of the former prime minister (Aldo Moro) in 1978. 


Italian police have arrested former BR members Enzo Calviti, Giovanni Alimony, Roberta Capelli, Marina Petrilla and Sergio Tornagi, as well as Gio Petrostfani of Lotta Continua and Narciso Monti of Nuclear Armati Contro El Pottery Territia, while Luigi Bergioz, And Rafael Ventura has managed to escape before his capture
