NA-75 Daska by-election PML-N candidate got a clear lead of several thousand votes

According to unofficial preliminary results of 193 polling stations, PML-N candidate Noshin Iftikhar got more than 60,000 votes, while Ali Asjad Malhi of PTI got more than 45,000 votes.

According to details, unofficial preliminary results are yet to come after the by-election in the NA-75 constituency of Punjab. According to unofficial preliminary results from 193 polling stations received so far, PML-N candidate Noshin Iftikhar got more than 60,000 votes while PTI’s Ali Asjad Malhi got more than 45,000 votes.


Thus, the PML-N currently has a lead of more than 15,000 votes over the PTI. According to sources, PML-N has a strong position in urban areas while PTI has a strong position in rural areas. 


However, the turnout in the rural areas of the constituency was much higher than in the urban areas, while the majority of the unofficial preliminary results received so far are in the urban areas. The PML-N is leading in the results.


The PTI has taken the position that so far no results have been received from the rural areas. As soon as the results are received from the rural areas, Ali Asjad Malhi will have the upper hand. 


It is to be noted that polling for by-polls was held in National Assembly constituency 75 Daska. Polling continued till 8 pm without any break. In the by-election battle between Ali Asjad Malhi of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Noshin Iftikhar of PML-N, the people cast their votes.


PTI candidate Ali Asjad Malhi did not cast his vote in the by-election of National Assembly constituency 75 Daska. Asjad Malhi came to his home constituency twice but did not cast his vote. 


In contrast, PML-N candidate Noshin Iftikhar cast his vote early in the morning. There is a public holiday in the constituency during the by-elections while strict security measures were taken to maintain law and order.


More than 4,000 constituency police and more than 1,000 Rangers were deployed. In addition, 10 teams of the Pakistan Army remained present as Quick Response Force, Section 144 was enforced in the constituency. 


As a result, there were no shootings due to the ban on the display of unlicensed or unlicensed weapons. For transparent and peaceful elections, the Chief Election Commissioner himself supervised the elections
