Johnson & Johnson’s Corona vaccine begins in Italy on Wednesday

Milan – Italy has been distributing a consignment of 184,000 doses of coronavirus to Johnson & Johnson in its territories since Wednesday.

Like the Easter Zenica job, Italian authorities are recommending the Johnson vaccine only for people over 60. The European Medicines Agency (EMA) said it had caused some cases of blood clots in young people.

The EMA also emphasized that the benefits of the vaccine far outweighed the risks. Unlike other covid vaccines, the Johnson vaccine requires only one dose.

Francisco Paolo Figueroa also said in a statement on Wednesday that 1.5 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine were needed nationwide Italy has so far given about 16 million doses of the vaccine and more than 4.6 million people have been fully vaccinated after taking two doses.
