Gold and dollar prices fall sharply

Karachi (10bmnews Latest News) After the decline in gold prices in the international barter markets the price of gold in Pakistan has also decreased while on the other hand the value of the rupee has also increased. According to Sindh Sarafa Bazar Jewelers Association the price of gold in the country has come down by Rs 2350 per tola after which the new price of gold has gone up to Rs 110500 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs 2015 to Rs 94736. According to Sindh Barter Bazaar Jewelers Association the price of gold per ounce in the global barter market has decreased by 51 51 to 18 1815. After which gold prices have also come down in Pakistan. On the other hand the rupee has also appreciated the rupee has strengthened against the dollar the value of one dollar has decreased by 96 paise.
According to sources the dollar has depreciated by 96 paise in the interbank market after which one dollar has become 160 rupees 8 paise. In the open market, the dollar has depreciated by 75 paise to Rs 160.60 per dollar. It may be recalled that the dollar has been depreciating continuously for the last several days after which the rupee has been stabilizing.
It is to be noted that the price of gold per ounce had gone down by 6 in the global market to 18 1866 yesterday after which there was a downward trend in the price of gold in the domestic barter markets. According to the report of All Pakistan Supreme Council Jewelers Association a tola of gold became cheaper by Rs 450 to Rs 112850 and ten grams of gold fell by Rs 385 to Rs 96751.
