Police arrested eight people, including two actresses, on extremely shameful charges
Police in the Indian state of Karnataka have arrested eight people, including two actresses, in a crackdown on drugs. According to Indian media, the Narcotics Control Bureau of India (NCB) had recently seized narcotic pills in a large-scale operation in Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi. Further investigation revealed that the pills were also supplied to actors, actresses, musicians and others in Karnataka’s film industry Sandalwood. The NCB, in collaboration with the Central Crime Branch, conducted operations in Bangalore and arrested Kunar actress Ragini Devidi.
