The district bar president accused Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul of taking bribes. According to private news channel Geo in his statement Bar President Naseem Khosa said that Rs 2 million was given to the District Bar in Islamabad by the Law Ministry.
He said that after depositing the check when he reached Faisalabad from Islamabad he got a call from the bank manager who told him that Zartaj Gul Wazir had called him.
Bar president Naseem Khosa alleged that the check was not allowed to be cashed due to non-payment of bribe. On the other hand Minister of State Zartaj Gul has denied the allegation and said that the Law Ministry has issued the relief check to the DG. Khan was stopped and invited to the ceremony
