The whole matter came to light a few days ago after which the girl’s father lodged a complaint with the police.
One night after the case was revealed and a complaint was lodged with the police, the accused entered the girl’s house, sprayed diesel on her and set her on fire. The girl was badly burnt after the fire and was rushed to hospital. However, the girl succumbed to her injuries. Police have arrested the girl’s cousin after the incident.
