Forty-five houses in Punjab Small Industry Housing Society were locked down, 140 people in 25 houses in Rustam Park and 120 people in 20 houses in Shahdara were quarantined.
As the situation improved, the siege of houses and streets was lifted. Residents of the area were happy with the end of the siege. Residents thanked the government for controlling the corona virus in a timely manner. As soon as the siege was lifted from all the locked areas, business activities resumed as usual.
On the other hand, after 560 new cases of corona virus were reported in Punjab today, the total number in the province rose to 8693.
Among them, 768 visitor centers, 1926 persons connected with Raiwind, 86 prisoners, 5917 civilians were confirmed to be infected with corona virus. Home quarantine approved in Punjab Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has approved SOPs for home quarantine. The Punjab government will implement home quarantine in the province after federal approval. The option of visiting government-established quarantine centers and hotels will be given.
