ISLAMABAD (Monitoring Desk) – Bank Al-Falah has issued a warning regarding money transactions for buying and selling cryptocurrencies. According to the website ‘Pro Pakistani’, Bank Al-Falah is warning its customers via SMS not to engage in corrupt currency transactions through its banking channels.

In this warning, the bank is informing the customers that all kinds of virtual assets or corrupt currencies are illegal, therefore the customers of Bank Al-Falah should not transact through their banking channels for buying and selling. The move by Bank Al-Falah comes a day after a report was filed in the Sindh High Court by the State Bank of Pakistan in which the central bank told the court that corrupt currencies are illegal and Pakistani citizens trade them.
