The Islamic Ideological Council demanded that the culprits involved in the Sialkot tragedy be punished according to law.
The 226th special meeting of the Islamic Ideological Council and an intellectual meeting were held with the experts for which a unanimous declaration was issued.
The statement said that the Sialkot tragedy was highly condemned in the think tank and all the accused involved in the tragedy were demanded to be punished through the legal process.
The meeting stated that the Pakistani government handled this difficult situation with utmost wisdom and the Sri Lankan government and people expressed satisfaction.
The Islamic Ideology Council (IIC) has hailed the Prime Minister’s announcement of a certificate of appreciation and a medal of bravery for Malik Adnan, who was trying to save Sri Lankan citizen Priyantha Kumara.
According to the statement, the council has decided to hold a series of think tanks with experts on the causes, causes, and prevention of militant tendencies so that long-term and Suggestions and opinions for immediate action can be formulated and practical steps can be taken
The council meeting and the subject matter experts unanimously believed that there was scope for substantial reform in the existing judicial system in order to restore public confidence in these institutions.
The meeting commended the religious, political, and governmental leaders of Pakistan for their timely and accurate condemnation of the Sialkot tragedy and expressed solidarity with the friendly country of Sri Lanka.
