Sabrina Carpenter drops easter eggs for new album?

Sabrina Carpenter has been keeping fans on their toes. It looks like she’s having fun knowing every move she makes is being analysed for potential clues about her next project.

Three months after the debut of her seventh album fans already began to spot easter eggs for the eighth when the 26-year-old former Disney star-turned-pop sensation stepped out for a daytime outing with friends.

Photos circulating on social media captured the Grammy winner enjoying some fresh air with a bunch of pals at Prospect Park in Brooklyn on October 27.

For the outing, the blonde beauty bundled up in a long black coat paired with a black-and-white checkered scarf.

Other snapshots showcased the Espresso hitmaker holding a professional camera and smiling.

Her outing got fans excited about what might be coming next. One fan pointed out that the last time paparazzi snapped the Manchild singer with her dog, it was right before she dropped her seventh album, Man’s Best Friend.

“Her camera is probably an Easter egg since her dog kinda was” one wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Another chimed in suggesting, “Deluxe maybe??” followed by a third, “I reckon it’s a music video release because I doubt she’d drop a deluxe so soon after the album.”

Some devoted supporters even brainstormed potential names for her next musical project, “SC8 potential titles: Pictures, Scarf, Autumn Coat, Camera, Most Beautiful Girl in the World. Any clues I’m missing?”

Excitement over a possible eighth album is palpable. “SC8 being released next year or even this year, OMG, it’d be sooo exciting,” wrote one fan.

Another tempered the hype, cautioning, “Guys, it’s not an album, relax.”

Well, if it’s not an album, could it be a music video or even a movie? One fan joked, “Sabrina, please stop looking like the main character of a rom-com if you aren’t actually gonna be in one next year; this is killing me.”

For now, it’s all just wild guesses and theories. Fans are reading into every little hint, but the Please Please Please chart topper hasn’t confirmed anything yet.

Notably, the idea of an eighth album is particularly ambitious, as she released her seventh album, Man’s Best Friend, on August 29.

The 12-track album arrived just one year after her Short n’ Sweet album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, her first chart-topping record.

In addition, the Tears songstress is currently busy treating fans on her Short n’ Sweet tour, which is set to wrap up on November 23, 2025, after a total of 72 shows.

Given her recent activities, it’s safe to say that no eighth album is on the horizon. There might be a single or a music video in the works, but it must be difficult for her to find the time to write, record, and edit a whole new album.”
