The death toll from Hurricane Rai has risen to 208 in the Philippines, with 52 people still missing.

More than 300,000 people have been evacuated from coastal areas, with the storm severely affecting the southern and central coastal areas of the Philippines.

The storm severely damaged electricity and communications systems, and the roofs of houses were blown off by the storm.

Trees and electricity poles fell, and many villages were flooded by the rains. Typhoon Rae hit the Philippine coast last Thursday.
