Nawabshah – Protest sit-in continues on National Highway against the alleged occupation of agricultural lands.
According to private TV Geo News, men and women have been protesting near Nawab Wali Muhammad bus stop on National Highway in Nawabshah since Monday morning. Protesters have set up tents and closed the road completely, disrupting traffic between Punjab and Karachi.
Demonstrators say that influential people in Nawab Wali Muhammad Goth have occupied their agricultural land, this sit-in will continue till their lands are relinquished.
