Maryam Aurangzeb, the spokesperson of PML-N, the largest opposition party, demanded an apology from Prime Minister Imran Khan for lying.
In a statement, Maryam Aurangzeb said that Imran Khan had lied to the nation about not taking loans from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and others, they should apologize today.
He said that the acknowledgment of the high level of inflation in the report of the Ministry of Finance was a confirmation of the economic catastrophe
The PML-N spokesperson further said that the government should not issue reports based on propaganda, resign so that the people and the economy can breathe.
He said that the disclosure of inflation figures by the finance ministry raises questions about the credibility of the report.
Maryam Aurangzeb also said that the fact that inflation remained in double digits in December is a fact that the journey of economic catastrophe continues.
He said that the nation has no confidence in the data of the Ministry of Finance and neither the economists, the first statistics department was prevented from releasing the weekly details of prices.
