PDM decides to bring a no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan


LAHORE – Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has decided to launch a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan. Confidence cannot be brought, a team has been formed to liaise with allies, now the situation has changed, distrust will succeed.

A meeting of PDM parties was held under the chairmanship of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, President Pakistan Democratic Movement.

Consultations and action plans on political situations and mistrust were formulated in the meeting. Talking to the media after the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that it has been decided that a no-confidence motion will be brought against the elected ruler. 

The heart also has to be enlarged. We will contact the coalition parties of the government. No no-confidence motion can be brought without the coalition partners of the government. We will request the ruling coalition parties to end the coalition.

He said that he would complete the homework before bringing the no-confidence motion. He would also contact the coalition parties of the government to bring a no-confidence motion. A team has been formed to liaise with the coalition partners of the government, Fazlur Rehman said. 

Circumstances have changed, circumstances have to wait, we are political people, make decisions with consensus and understanding, the no-confidence motion will succeed. We will not contact PTI members, we will see if any of the PTI members contact themselves. “My goal is the same, I will not speak against any opposition party,” he said
