November current account deficit stood at 1.9 billion, SBP said


State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has released data on current accounts balance.

The current account deficit for November stood at 1.9 billion, according to SBP data.

According to the report, the current account deficit in the first five months of the current financial year stood at 7.8 billion.

According to the SBP report, the country’s imports during July-November stood at about 30 billion while its exports during this period stood at 12.33 billion.

According to the report, the country’s trade deficit in five months stood at 17.57 billion, while workers’ remittances in five months stood at 12.90 billion.

According to SBP data, trade, services, and revenue accounts accounted for 20.79 billion in five months.
