Rawalpindi – Lt. Gen. Nigar Johar became the first female officer to become Colonel Commandant of Army Medical Corps. The Army Chief said that the Army and the nation are proud that the three-star female general has become the Colonel Commandant of the Army Medical Corps.

According to Pakistan Army Public Relations Department ISPR, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Army Medical Corps Abbottabad. General Qamar Javed Bajwa presented badges to Colonel Commandant Army Medical Corps Lieutenant Nigar Johar. Lt. Gen. Nigar Johar is the main female official to become Colonel Commandant of the Army Medical Corps.

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the army and the nation are proud of the three-star female general becoming Colonel Commandant of the Army Medical Corps. The Army Chief praised the role of the Army Medical Corps during Corona. Doctors and paramedics played a leading role against Corona.
