ISLAMABAD – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on Prime Minister Imran Khan for violating the code of conduct in Lower Dir. 

According to details, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan, Federal Ministers Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, and Pervez Khattak were also fined Rs 50,000 for violating the code of conduct in the Lower Dir meeting. Khan and others were fined.

According to the decision, the Prime Minister did not appear either by himself or through a lawyer. Imran Khan can appeal to the Election Commission on the order for 3 days. I have apologized to the people.
