Lahore – PML-N member of the Punjab Assembly Sania Ashiq was arrested yesterday in the case of the viral video attributed. According to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the cybercrime wing arrested the accused from Taxila. MPA Sania Ashiq had lodged a written complaint with the FIA cybercrime wing Lahore.
According to the FIA, the complaint stated that the accused had attributed the nasty video to Kosania Ashiq. FIA sources said that the accused Imran Khan was allegedly harassing the female MPA through mobile messages. The arrested accused said that he had seen a video on social media and sent messages to her which had no wrong motive.
The FIA Lahore Cyber Crime Wing has registered a case against the accused Imran Khan and started an investigation. It should be noted that PML-N MPA Sania Ashiq had applied to the FIA Cyber Crime Wing. That they are being harassed and threatened on social media. The text of the petition further states that unknown individuals have launched a campaign against him on social media.
Punjab Assembly member Sania Ashiq further said in the petition that my videos have gone viral and photos have been used on fake tick talk and social media accounts attributed to me. Sania Ashiq has also provided screenshots of social media accounts including records of various calls and messages from different numbers to the FIA.

PML-N leader Ataullah Tarar said that he had submitted an application to the FIA under the Cyber Crimes Act and hoped that action would be taken against those responsible. Shame on those who spread false nasty videos and pictures against Sania Ashiq. Even the pictures on the death bed of the late father were misdirected
