ISLAMABAD – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected an appeal to include Imran Khan’s name in the ECL and prosecute him for treason.

A division bench of the Islamabad High Court comprising Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Sardar Ejaz Sahaq Khan delivered a safe verdict. Declared inadmissible.

The Islamabad High Court, after hearing the arguments of appellant Maulvi Iqbal Haider, reserved its decision on the admissibility of the petition. Earlier, Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Atharmanullah dismissed the petition with a fine of Rs 100,000.
