|The Prime Minister should refrain from making controversial statements|
PPP Vice President Senator Sherry Rehman said that the Prime Minister’s statement against the 18th Amendment and parliamentary democracy was reprehensible.
Sherry Rehman in response to Imran Khan’s interview with CNN said that the Prime Minister said in the interview that there are problems with the 18th amendment. He said that the 18th amendment was the second most unanimous document after the constitution of Pakistan.
Sherry Rehman said that the federal government is responsible for non-cooperation with the provinces, your party’s government is in three provinces. He asked if anyone else was responsible for the non-cooperation of Punjab, KP, and Balochistan. How long will you blame others for your incompetence and failures?
Senator Sherry Rehman also said that the Prime Minister should refrain from making controversial statements. It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that there were many problems after the 18th amendment
