Heavy snowfall in northern and western parts of Japan has led to the cancellation of more than 100 domestic flights.
More than 5,000 passengers have been affected by the cancellation of 77 flights of ANA Holdings.
More than 1,800 people were affected by the cancellation of 35 flights of Japan Airlines.
Japanese officials have warned that more flights could be canceled due to the ongoing weather in the country
