Islamabad – Government sources have claimed that four League members of the Assembly are in touch with government members. According to ARY News, government sources have claimed that four PML-N MPs are in touch with government members and will not attend the meeting if a no-confidence motion is tabled. An important meeting of government ministers was held in which the strategy of the opposition on the no-confidence motion was discussed.

According to the report, the meeting decided to liaise with PPP and PML-N members. For the liaison, the federal ministers were given an important task. Members of opposition parties in PK will be contacted.

Government sources claimed that the four League members were in touch with government members and would not attend the meeting if a no-confidence motion was filed against the speaker or deputy speaker.

Prime Minister Imran Khan was apprised of the decisions of the meeting. In addition, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser called on Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani and discussed the possible motion of no-confidence of the opposition. 

Federal Minister Shibli Faraz, Mirza Muhammad Afridi, Advisor to the Prime Minister Ayub Afridi were also present in the meeting held on Friday.
