A bomb blast near the gate of the passport office in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
According to a spokesman for the Kabul Security Department, the blast took place in a car in front of the Passport Department in Kabul.
On the other hand, according to the Afghan Interior Ministry, the attacker was trying to enter the passport department, but security personnel stationed at the passport office in Kabul foiled the attack.
The Afghan Interior Ministry says security forces have already shot dead the attacker. The nature of the blast was not immediately known and no casualties were reported.
It should be noted that after the resumption of passport office service after several weeks of suspension, a large crowd of Afghans has been gathering outside the passport office in recent days to obtain travel documents.
