Sabrina Carpenter finally claps back against Lolita allegations
Singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter has finally addressed ongoing rumors behind her 2024 photoshoot.
For those unversed, they allege that the singer took inspiration from the film Lolita to conduct her shoot.
The film revolves around the inappropriate obsession a grown man has towards a young girl.
Her entire response came via TikTok after a social media user presented side-by-side picture comparisons from her shoot, as well as a still from the lolita movie.
Sabrina shared her stance in the comment section and said, “i’ve never seen this movie. it’s never been on my mood board and never would be.”
However, after the user failed to be convinced, and instead referenced another 2024 song Nonsense, that contains the lyrics, “I’m full grown but I look like a niña/ Come put something big in my casita/ Mexico, I think you are bonita!”
