New Delhi – The desire to drive a police vehicle forced a citizen to steal a police jeep.
According to Indian media reports, a 45-year-old man named Nagpa Y stole a jeep from a police station in Dharor district of Karnataka and set off on a long journey but was later arrested. He wanted to drive a police car. To fulfill his wish, he stole a ship parked in front of the police station and traveled 112 km.
According to police, the 45-year-old was a driver by profession who drove almost every vehicle but wanted to drive a police jeep. Nagpal Wai said that whenever he passed by, he would see a police jeep parked in the police station premises. According to Indian media, Nagpa thought it was the right time to fulfill his wish, so he drove the jeep.
According to reports, after covering a distance of 112 km, he parked the jeep on the side of the road and fell asleep. Police suspect that the accused is mentally disturbed and this is his first crime. However, after registering a case, the accused has been sent to judicial custody.
