In addition, the Cabinet Division has issued a notification regarding the Federal Cabinet. According to the notification issued by the Cabinet Division regarding the Federal Cabinet, Khawaja Asif has been given the portfolio of Defense Minister, Rana Tanveer Education Minister, Rana Sanaullah Wazir. Interior Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique will be the Minister for Railways and Aviation.
Syed Khurshid Shah has been made Federal Minister for Water Resources, Naveed Qamar has been made Minister for Commerce, Shazia Murree has been made Federal Minister for Poverty and Social Security, Maulana Asad Mahmood has been made Federal Minister for Communications, Mufti Abdul Shakoor has been made Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Senator Talha Mahmood has been made Federal Minister for Travel. Amin-ul-Haq has been given the portfolio of IT, Abdul Wasi has been given the portfolio of Housing and Works, Faisal Sabzwari has been given the portfolio of Maritime Affairs and Israr Tareen has been given the portfolio of Defense Production.
Yesterday, Acting President Sadiq Sanjarani administered the oath of office to the nominee of the Federal Cabinet. 30 members of parliament took oath as federal ministers and 4 members took oath as ministers of state. Among those who took oath were 14 members of PML-N and 9 members of PPP. Ministers belonging to other allied parties also took oaths of office.
