ISLAMABAD – The National Security Committee (NSC) has issued a statement on a threatening letter to the Prime Minister. Interference in Pakistan is intolerable, Pakistan will record its strong protest from the concerned country keeping in view the diplomatic etiquette.

According to media reports, a statement has been issued for a meeting of the National Security Committee chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan. The government decided to respond to the letter in full. 

The statement said that the committee stated that the talks of the foreign officials with the Pakistani ambassador were interference in our internal affairs. Pakistan would record its strong protest with the concerned country. Interference in internal affairs, interference in Pakistan’s internal affairs is intolerable.

The National Committee expressed concern over the language used by foreign diplomats. The National Security Committee ratified the special cabinet meeting on March 30. 

Talking to the media after the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Federal Minister Asad Omar said that the drama of forgery of the letter which had been going on for three days should be stopped now.
