Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmeen Rashid has said that two patients from Lahore have been successfully transplanted with kidney and liver from Abu Dhabi. They are being used to save someone’s life.

Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmeen Rashdeen while addressing a press conference at Pakistan Kidney and Liver Transplant Institute Lahore said that this is the first time that parents have donated organs of a child.

Dr. Yasmeen Rashid also expressed the wish that while he was on his death bed, his cashew organ was working, it should be used to save someone’s life.

He said that PKLI is starting a bone marrow transplant in the hospital, trying to make the hospital fully functional, will make it a teaching institution, this hospital will be a regular teaching hospital.

The Health Minister said that due to the efforts of the government, this hospital is functioning today for the purpose for which it was built. So far, more than 231 kidney transplants have been performed here.

The Punjab Health Minister said that she was working day and night to provide health facilities to the people. He said that people’s lives are saved by giving blood. Is that also haraam?
